We simply can’t get enough of Holgas & Coffee….! Now that we’ve partnered with Vitamin Angels we’re donating $1 for every roll of film that we process in coffee and vitamin C. It doesn’t get much better! So lets get together and for another Holgas & Coffee workshop!

Those of you that haven’t heard about what all of this Holgas & Coffee fuss is all about well… it’s pretty simple… we all get together Saturday morning… well equipped with our favorite photo device (Holga) and we just roam the streets of Santa Barbara looking for new and interesting things and people to take pictures of. After that… we head back to the lab and Glen and Oscar show us how to process film using coffee and vitamin C instead of using a conventional developer! Yes.. really…..!! It’s fun.. it’s funky… it has an interesting look…. and we are totally nuts about it….

So here’s the breakdown, if you’re not too crazy about Holgas and you prefer to shoot with a different device on the photo walk…. bring it along. If you’re curious about what a Holga Camera is… sign up… no need to buy a camera… you can borrow one of ours… if you love it…. buy it… use it again…! (They are super affordable at $35 each.)

The cost to participate in the workshop is $20 and since we love Vitamin Angels so much…. well this time around….. half of the registration fee is going to be donated to Vitamin Angels!! What else??? Well…. this includes some film to shoot on the photo walk, it includes the processing of your film… we’ll also scan your film, upload it for you onto our FrontWeb site so you can download the large rez versions of the scans, and you get a CD and prints as well….!! Maybe we’ll do metallic prints this time around…. just for fun… We’ll also provide some coffee, juice and bagels that morning to get you going…
