Santa Barbara, CA, November 16, 2009 –(PR.com)– Santa Barbara start-up SBMerge.com recently launched to deliver upcoming events, reviews and photographic reports in one easily navigable website. Created as a useful resource for visitors and locals alike, SBMerge.com offers accessible information about community functions that represent the essence of the Santa Barbara lifestyle. Unique to the site are photo essays that creatively capture the energy of each event and act as a souvenir for attendees to peruse and pirate.
SBMerge.com was designed by Santa Barbara photographer Kelly Lane. Like many such innovations, it was conceived after repeated frustration from discovering interesting events after the fact. “Clearly there was a need for a dedicated Santa Barbara event calendar that listed both the typical mainstream gatherings as well as the more eclectic ones we typically hear about from someone involved in the event,” said Lane. Thus, the need for a dedicated Santa Barbara event calendar emerged.
Founded in 2009 by photojournalist Kelly Lane, SBMerge.com is the event calendar for all must-see & do goings-on in Santa Barbara. Music, art, food, travel, exclusive photo essays and everything in between are all at SBMerge.com.
