The perks of being a member at Presqu'ile just grew exponentially with the opening of their new tasting room in Santa Maria. Calling it a "tasting room" seems like an understatement, as it's really more like a getaway where you can hang out all day long on their terraced lawn, play bocce ball, foosball or cool off in the wine cave.
Central Coast Winemakers’ Series at Avant Tapas and Wine

Avant Tapas and Wine, located at Terravant in Buellton, has been one of our favorite wine tasting destinations. They have a huge selection of wines available for tasting and they have fantastic food—always handy when winetasting. Now they have a launched a winetasting series on Saturdays that sounds extra appealing.
Every other Saturday from 6:30-8:30pm, you’ll be able to meet a Central Coast winemaker and sample a flight of up to five wines. The series runs from July 7th through October 27. The tastings are $10 per person, and as an added bonus, featured wines will be sold 20% off. Revisit an old favorite or discover a new one. Here’s the schedule:
